District School Drama Festival
Coochbehar Shishu Kishore Sanstha organized the District School Drama Festival on 26th of August at Rabindra Bhavan which saw enthusiastic participation from various locations across West Bengal. The event was honored by the presence of Ms. Angira Dutta, Officer of the District Information and Culture Department. Numerous other esteemed personalities also graced the occasion, making it a grand success. The festival celebrated local talent, fostering a spirit of creativity and cultural unity among the participants and audience alike.
Vidyasagar Jayanti
On 26 September 2024, CSKS celebrated Pandit Ishwarchandra Vidyasagar’s birthday with the publication of Sabujman magazine, the organization’s mouthpiece. The program featured insightful discussions, and scholarships were awarded to meritorious students. A vibrant cultural event followed, where children showcased their talents in singing, dancing, recitation, and drama, adding to the day’s significance. District Superintendent of Police Shri Dutiman Bhattacharya, Mayor Shri Rabindranath Ghosh and other guests were present.
Recitation Workshop
CSKS held a successful recitation workshop and event on 15-16 September 2024, coinciding with a literary gathering. It provided a platform for participants to enhance their recitation skills, while the literary gathering featured insightful discussions and performances. The event celebrated the art of speaking, attracting literature enthusiasts and promoting cultural exchange among participants. It was a memorable blend of education, culture, and creativity.
